The end of chapter 4 summarizes the day in the life of a copy editor, and all the things that have to be done. The editor has to stay on top of deadlines in order to be effective at his or her job. The editor must also rely on the papers team of staff to produce a good paper. Online reporting has changed how the news paper operates and how people interact with it. Most people will stick to names they know, and frequent websites that they remember and feel are credible. A good editor should never forget the Bop it metaphor:
